About Little Blue World

What is a picture worth?

These are my thousand words.

There is something beautiful and romantic about a wonderful moment of life, frozen in time. At the end of the day, when the flowers have wilted and the guests have gone, what will remain are the photographs. When choosing a photographer, it is important to remember that these images will last a lifetime and that you should settle for nothing less than priceless.

Whether it’s your wedding day or the first day of your child's life, your birthday or your family photo, I think that what's important is capturing it in a way that truly represents who you are. Studios are cold and impersonal. I strive to make your portraits vibrant and brimming with personality and by shooting on location I offer a versatility that simply cannot be found in studios.

Every package can be tailored to your specifications, because your needs and your life aren't like anyone else's. I offer wedding packages to suit every budget and portrait packages for every lifestyle. And if you don’t find something that suits you, we can work together to find something that does.

More than anything else I enjoy meeting people who are celebrating their own lives, and I love capturing the moments that never come again.

I really believe that it’s important to treasure every moment that we get on this little blue world of ours.

Meet your Photographer

I have had a camera in my hand since I was about 8. It was about two inches long and purple and made of plastic. It took 110 film (which I’m not even sure they even make anymore) and the viewfinder was a flip-up plastic square. From then on, my life can be measured in cameras. My next camera was also made of plastic and was long and rectangular. I distinctly remember taking pictures of my cousin’s pet crayfish with it. Yes, pet crayfish, and I still have those pictures. When I was 16 my mother gave me her first real camera: a 35mm Pentax that was older than I was. That camera was my trusty sidekick for nearly a decade and it has traveled the world with me. It sparked a passion in photography and I studied it as an art through college. I continue to hone my skills by taking classes when I have the time to learn new techniques and new technology. I think it’s important to never stop learning.

I still believe that film is irreplaceable, but have embraced digital wholeheartedly. My current camera is the Canon 5D, Mark II (otherwise known as the first digital camera ever used to shoot the official presidential portrait!). I chose this state-of-the-art camera because I believe the images it produces are remarkable and incomparable to any other brand out there.

My goal is to provide you with personal and friendly service that provides you with nothing less than what makes you happy.

Little Blue World Photography is based out of the greater Los Angeles area, but will travel to wherever your life is happening.
